Especially, from the privatization in July 2004, with the name of Tan Binh Electronics Joint Stock company, tradename VTB, the business results have considerable changed. The turnover of the year 2005 is 412 billions Vietnam dong, inceasing 108,412 times compared to the year 1982 (3,800,000VND dong). For only 06 initial months of 2006, the sales turnover made 56% of the year 2006, 153% compared to the same term of the year 2005, the profit is equal to 67% of the plan of the year 2006 and 208% compared to the same term of the year 2005.
VTB has threes factories in Ho Chi Minh city and one branch in Hanoi with more than 280 staff. VTB has manufactured many different kinds of products such as TV, LCD TV, HDTV, Digital DVD/VCD, computer, laptop, fridge, electronics components …. The manufacturing line has been constantly invested and the technology has constantly been improved. The manufacturing output has been steadily increasing. 800.000 products was manufactured in 2005.

VTB is the first Vietnamese enterprise that takes part in the program of industrial corporation between Asian countries (AICO) with Sony Vietnam company and Sony Singpore company. Through the program, every year, VTB exports products with value of about 3 millions USD to the countries in the region. From this, products main in VTB, made in Vietnam have been known by many countries in the world.
