Tan Binh Electronics JSC is a company that was established in Aug 1981 and privatized in July 2004. Through many up and down periods, currently, Tan Binh Electronics JSC-VTB continues to arise into a scale of a strong company in both scale and the tradename in the field of Electronics, household electrics, and information technology. For many years, VTB has been regarded as a strong trade name, the products are selected as Vietnam high quality product by the consumers.
In the morning of 19 April, the Department of training and education cooperated with Tan Binh Electronics Joint Stock company to organize the informatics contest of the education and training branch – VTB for the first time. 67 teams with 210 pupils and students from some primary schools, Junior High schools and Senior High schools and centers for continuing education took part in the contest.
VTB company starts to operates under the form of joint stock company since July 2004. The general assessment on the activities of the company after the privatization is that it meets the criteria set up as follows:

On 18 August 1981, the Ministry of metallurgy and mechanics (now is the Ministry of Industry) signed a Decision No 1250/CL TCQL to establish Tan Binh alternating capacitor, directly under the Union of the electronics enterprises. From an enterprise with small scale with 37 initial staff, after 25 years, Tan Binh Electronics has become a leading company of Vietnam Electronics Corporation and of Vietnam Electronics Industry as well. The company has also become a strong tradename of Vietnam high quality product with prestige and attraction to and trust from the customers.
On 27 Dec 2006, Ho Chi Minh City stock transaction center welcomed a new member: Tan Binh VTB Electronics JSC. This is one of the typical enterprises of Vietnam Electronics Industry that participates in the stock market.
